A bit of History from early in the Fourth Age

The program from the 2nd Conference on Middle-earth

TOLKIEN CONFERENCE SCHEDULE
2, 3, 4 April 1971

THE CLEVELAND CONFERENCE ON MIDDLE-EARTH WELCOMES YOU

The day is come and C-COME is taking place. After many short months and several very long days,
we can welcome you to the Cleveland-Conference On Middle Earth. We hope you enjoy yourself.

We feel that this will be a truly educational experience. It should be interesting, enlightening, intellectually stimulating and most of all enjoyable. After all, if it isn't fun, it can't be educational.

We urge you to participate as much as possible. We hope you'll add your area of expertise to the discussions for the benefit of the others attending C-COME.

So enjoy and let us begin.
